Do i miss something then? Are t-mobile not going to be selling it aswell? If it is just vodafone then it is a no no for me not unless apple sell them instore, slight t-mobile branding i can put up with but not a butchered voda one.

Do you honestly think apple will allow vodafone to brand it?

Hi all,
Well IMHO unless Voda launch yet another new data tariff my money is on T-Mobile as really only they and 3 have really good Data Tariffs. As do Orange but there branding could quite possibly of ruled them out and the same as Voda. About time Networks were made to pay for crippling handsets and i would imagine the iPhone will only be available via one Network and for a good Data deal and minimal or no branding T-Mobile ae way ahead of the others. They even approve manufacturer Firmware updates quite quickly now much to my surprise. Considering how dire they were when they where 121 they have to win the most improved Network easily IMO.
I could quite fancy an iPhone as my Multimedia device with a 2nd smart phone for everything else of course dependant on price.

I've had the P990 on vodafone, purchased through carphone warehouse for about 10 months now.
With SE announcing they are stopping firmware updates for p990/m600 I might be encouraged to try out the iphone

I find it quite puzzling that "Orange was denied involvement in the launch, citing overzealous branding of their handsets" when everyone knows that Vodafone are by far the worst with network branding...
Very true. However Orange have been known to actually disable features such as TrackID in its W850i..
and the photo blogging feature in the k800i...

@Superluminova
I think hate may be a bit strong but basically no one is really a fan of their branding and disabling of functions. Also there press statement claiming they were going to deliver new Data packages that were going to be better than the other Networks also reported by yourself also fell well short of the mark. Which means that there customers that want to use Data are paying too much for it, same as with 02 and really i think that's enough reason's don't you?
