Nice one! I'm just waiting on delivery of a similar W550i, this one's apparently fully working but has come off thew swivel or something, only cot me a tenner! i'm hopefully getting it soon - depends on the mail, who are on strike again!

Will probably copy you and start a thread and post pics if i can get it fixed.

the leads are pretty easy to fit in ( as one of my mates w550i was in half), but i dont know how easy to fit the screws in the swivel as she had lost most of the screws

Nice phone A L E X!

ye, quite easy to fit the screws back in and so are the flex cables with a pair a tweezers..as in the guide i posted before

but make sure with the flex cables the one with the blue dot always goes in the left side connector thing, otherwise the phone will make a failed attempt to startup and any prolongued amount of charging like tht will fry the main board

Alex your becoming abit of dab hand at taking phones
appart just like your N95 lol ..

well done brill bargain and to get it working even better

I got a good bargain on this

it was trashy when I got it but after a new front and back it looks like new,
it needs the white chassis haven't been able to find one yet anyone know where I can pick one cheap up?

the teeth holding the battery cover are broken

bargain though £15 total including delivery,
my mate gave me a charger for it and gotta say the phone just lasts for days might be a oldie phone but it will out run a newer phone on battery life!

Have a look on Ebay for cheap white chassis for the phone, just be careful of far eastern ones that claim to be genuine but generally aren't!

My W550i STILL hasn't arrived!
