FYI: w580i is available in Norway now. Just got mine yesterday (Gray edition).
About the 512MB. Yes it was included in my package at least. Just remember, it's already inserted into the phone. So stop looking for it in the box
Great phone. really like it. One stupid thing though. Might be only my phone, but the latch for the memory card had a ridiculous small notch that was supposed to hold it in place. Each time I flipped up the phone it jumped up. Being the practical type, I superglued it in place, won't need more than 512MB. I'm waiting for the W910i to be my permanent phone. This'll be the backup.
Also, one question for all who gets this phone.
Could you check the TrackID feature. Whatever I try I get this message when using it: "We're sorry, but your device is not allowed to use this service". If everyone gets it, it means SE haven't gotten TrackID central site updated to accept the w580i (lazy bastards
).
And before anyone ask. No, the keys have not split like the s500i yet. But only had it for one day. We'll see.

Sorry. Don't have any pictures just now, maybe later. But to give a little more impression. The feel of the phone is generally good. It has some weight to it compared to size, which for me is a good feeling. I hate the empty/plastic feel when size/weight ratio is wrong. The sliding has a good spring action. Not the best there is, but a long way from bad (i had the Nokia N80 once, that sucked). When open there is some 'movement' of the two parts. Not too much, but not perfect. Although, for the price / segment this phone is, I find it more than ok.
About the lighting. Pretty sure my Gray model do not have transparent shell. Meaning it only shows the lighting on the sides on through buttons. Might be different on the white one.
