Ok people, SE' s still listening and says there's gonna be another fw update as soon as 2 weeks from now, you can refer to this

So you can keep your spirits high with the knowledge that there's still hope to actually get what you want, so start spilling your bug concerns. SE, you're starting to get on the better side of me, so how about giving us the video mode autofocus trick back. And please, get RDS alternative frequency (AF) working as you have so boldly stated in your 'help' option in the Radio app, and I quote:
"The radio can also re-tune to the alternative frequency that gives the best reception for the channel you have set (AF)."

I would make my peace if these two issues were solved

this might have been the response of another dumb support center employee who has simply copied & pasted the text fm an earlier response, not aware that it has been released already.

The info refers to the release of R6E28.

I rang them once mid May (had R5 on my P990 since a month already) in order to check if they have any info on the release of the next fw.

The girl put me on hold for almost two minutes and came back with the answer 'No, unfo there is no news yet on the release of the next fw.'

I asked her what the latest available fw is and she replied: R4

Your skepticism understood. Nevertheless, there is a chance for it to be genuine, I don't think we have anything to lose by posting the annoying bugs we have to deal with here, so fire away!
