I managed to get a very fine pair of tweezers up under here (see yellow arrow) then the left side clips off. Then i just popped it off along the top side. It all just came off then. No problems!

I just need some super glue now to hold the clear plastic display cover onto the new housing...

Finally got arund to finishing this!

I've now got me a totally black w610i with flash themes! Yay!







IMO it looks loads better in black. I did consider putting the orange back on it too but then stopped at a totally black Walkman!

I don't think a K550/W610 hybrid is possible, the center piece is different

i.e. the K550 camera button is different from the W610's camera button

The housing was from www.cnn.cn it came complete except for the side buttons?
