I expect the N82 and Samsung g800 to have a much greater breadth of talents than the K850i, allbeit at a much higher price.
In fact in pure photographic terms, the G800 will wipe the floor with allcomers IMO.

Come on now you really can't be serious low return rates, amazing how you have conveniently forgotten about all the first release of K800's that were being returned in huge numbers due to a badly programmed EROM that gave the red blinking light and wouldn't boot up or charge talk about selective memory please get real when making absurd claims that can not be substantiated by the facts.

Well if you spent half as much energy reading as you do typing you would see I was merely quoting from the article on the 1st post so if you have an issue with that, contact the well respected editors of mobiletoday.co.uk and tackle them about their absurd claims .

From mobiletoday:

"Both manufacturers are popular among operators for high ARPU and low returns. Samsung's more fashionable customers are known to be users of voice, while Sony Ericsson users are more likely to use their phones for internet services. "

So if you pull YOUR figures out and then contact:

I will be right here waiting for the outcome of this interesting comparison.

How can you say this when the K850i and the N82 haven't even been released yet?

I didn't know worship of SE is the only thing allowed in this forum. Worship SE or be gone?

I used to really like SE, and I still kinda do, but not as much as I used to. I hate SE's new approach: differentiating product lines to the extent of giving features exclusive only to one line. (e.g., keeping lens cover exclusive to Cybershot; play/pause button, Flash themes to Walkman). And SE's being less and less innovative compared to competition. (Ahem, Nokia N95...) Not to mention they still lag behind regarding some features. (video recording?) They are now releasing new phones with only a few upgrades/new features because they're holding the other features back, so they could release an upgraded version and pack it as a new phone a few months after.

kristianm.. 100% agree with you. well said.
masada71.. have you check K850 review by eldar? he actually compared the camera of the two phones and declare the clear winner: K850. go to
http://www.mobile-review.com/index-en.shtml find the K850 review (the
photographic section one i suppose and findout yourself).

It is not a fairy tale whatsoever, this is the real world. In fact probably you are the one who is telling a fairy tales coz N82 is not exist in this world up to this date (i know they will announce it soon, but until today it is not officially exist anywhere in this world not even in Nokia's official homepage).

I read this piece in said phone magazie and just rolled my eyes. The dealers they speak to in these magazines know f-all about phones, they just know what will sell well. I mean saying something like "the K850i will be better because it has a better camera because it's higher than 3.2MP and is sharper than the N95's MP" without any kind of proof or backup is bollocks.

Still, I have little doubt it will have the highest quality camera, but I can't back this up with fact yet so we shall see. In terms of sales, I suspect it will do well, but so will the Samsung. The N95 seems to have slowed down in terms of sales, now their readily available it seems noone wants them.

Well if you were so happy to quote it implies you believe it as you didn't even question the statement or are you know saying you do admit and realise that that statement is incorrect and bears no resemblance to the truth. In fact i have even pointed it out before the last time such an absurd statement was made on this forum a quote from an awards ceremony if my memory serves me correctly.

Really the way some of you will defend SE for anything they do and never see any wrong doing ever is beyond belief and the realms of reality. You are right though i have much better things to do then correct bad journalism i have my E90 to play with so once i have slept and it has charged that's what i will do and continue to avoid pointless discussions where of course I'm always wrong or is that right? definitely much more fun than discussing SE's failings for sure especially with those that just can't accept the truth or facts.

Marc
