N73 has great stereo loudspeakers... Believe me... My friend has it... The reason u may think it sound bad is because Stereo Widening is on... Turn it off and then try...

Your friend may well have it and I myself had it as my main phone for 3 months. The speakers sound horrible, piercing bright treble and no bass. Probably the most tinny sound I have ever heard and quite the worst mobile phone speakers ever IMO. Nothing to do with stereo widening. Stereo loudspeakers which are less than an inch apart are worthless by the way. Give me a decent sounding mono design any day.

So what if the N73 has stereo sound, it sounds terrible! Really tinny. The mono N80 before it sounded much, much better and the P1i sounds better again. Don't be a marketing sheep, tinny stereo speakers 1cm apart DO NOT sound better than a decent mono speaker.

Huh, 1cm apart ? ? ? You are talking crap. I bet you never had a N73 to play with. Just to give you a exapmle of the sound quality on speaker phone - When I call my wife and use this mode I leave the doore open so that people walking past can see she is not there ! You think is a joke? Think again buddy Certainly my Boss does not think so The voice comming out of those little speakers is amaizing indeed. I am still waiting to see a better one and that includes all the Samsungs ever made (Never mind SE)
Greetings from South Africa.

I bought my P1i last 2 weeks.. I can say that it's a great phone I've ever had so far.. I'm into nokia before but I think it will take you days to get adjusted to Sony Ericsson..

The only problem right now as I compared to my N5700 is that my P1i always crashes or reboots eventually. I don't know if it because of WLAN connection, or what. But overall, I recommend it with it's features, convenience and speed.

i cant believe there r people with such problems and lots of others, i have bought 4 p1i here in belgium! one for me and 3 for my collegues here @ work, they are being used very heavily: lots off calls, messaging, exchange active sync!, calendar, gps,... and they have never had any issue, we dont turn them off over night. not one error not even one reboot!
