I just bought an Acer TravelMate 5720, it seems to be about the same specs as yours except without the bluetooth. I have the bluetooth switch on mine but no bluetooth, I think they just stick it on all their cases.
The reason I went for the laptop I have is that it's all black, I'm not a fan of the white/silver and black laptops. I'm not even that keen on Acer designs but they offered quite good value for money in terms of specs.

Hi all,
I really don't get all this slagging off of Vista compared to earlier versions of Windows it really is far less troublesome only thing i would say is it is indeed very Ram hungry. As i thought 1GB of Ram would of been enough for my needs as don't use Photo or Video editing software and don't play games either. But using a memory boost ready 2GB USB key the issues i had were cheaply resolved and the Laptop now runs much faster especially Web browsing. I have no issues installing any software and not a single crash or freeze, unlike Win 95, NT or even Win 98 and XP so far i have found Vista to be rock solid and more than faster enough for my needs.

i dont know why a lot of people slag off vista who have never used it or just cos of single problems......
i like vista but it has given me a lot of trouble like LEDS on laptop not working, software nto being compatible, hardware not compatable and stuff but i've just decided to be patient with it and it is a real good OS and i've managed to get used to it...for now.

generally Core 2 Duo T7100 processors come with 2MB L2 Cache, but mine came with 4MB L2 Cache
in the specs written on the sticker on the laptop it says
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor T7100(1.8GHz, 800MHz FSB, 2MB L2 Cache)

Might be that the program you are using is not displaying the right information, since the t7200 has 4mb L2cache.
