If it is anything like the US deal then O2 will give unlimited data with the tariff. AT&T in the US made a tariff especially for the iPhone and I suspect O2 will do the same.

Mind you, that creaky old gprs network wouldn't exactly encourage data use.

The AT&T monthly £60 tariff includes 400 minutes and unlimited data. They use EDGE in the US so data speeds is ok but not amazing.
