Have you tried the iPhone? Since this is just a fork, everything will be different compared to the old ipods if the rumors are true.

if you dont care how your music sounds, then it wont be an issue... you will just listen and enjoy. i, however, look for quality. but dont buy it often as i use my phone only now again, sold my sony nw-a808, i like to travel light

I cannot say that I have ever had a phoen which is better, but many sw walkman phones do have better headphones

re the SQ, to me it isnt good. Compared to the sony i owned, and other devices ive used, even with better headphones attatched, and music encoded at a good rate, the ipod lost on most occassions. just my opinion though luke.....

I only have flac on my pc lol, that is above 320kbps quality, so yes. But i do think about mobility, and an ipod is ideal, since its space is huge. Its like a blackhole compared to another player like a sony with 8gb. But yes, i have to compromise with the porta players, so its never going to be "good" in my standards.
