Yeah I think September is a bit of a surprise for most people. I thought October the earliest. They have got an exclulsive too by the sounds of it so they must have struck up some deal to get it first.

I can guarantee O2 will get the blue one and (all going smoothly) it will be on sale from the 1st of October, which incidentally is the start of the week so it all ties in very nicely for them.
