and mayby because the back lense has "carl zeiss lens" written on it? If those pics arent fake enough, that is. Who has rights to carl zeiss lens again? Oh thats right, nokia does, not sony ericsson. Blatenly copied and pasted from sony cybershot digicam. The i-phone look alike wasnt photoshopped very well, the cybershot logo on the bottom isnt straight. Im sure sony ericsson would get that right.
I agree it's a dead set fake, but come on now, Nokia wouldn't have sole rights to Carl Zeiss lenses. Otherwise why would Cybershot digicams have them. And why would Carl Zeiss limit their possible sales of lenses by signing an exclusive licence with Nokia?

I've heard that the Nokia lenses are only Carl Zeiss branded, ie: Nokia have the right to use the name but that the lenses aren't actually made by Carl Zeiss.

True. That decision was actually to counter SE's Cybershot.

Exactly, this branding plague is everywhere
reason why I don't understand people going on and on about Walkman and Cybershot phone's not being "real" cybershot or walkman's. Especially when I've heard some of those people argue that Nokia camera's are better because they have "Carl Zeiss" lenses.
There is no such thing as a "real" cybershot. It's just a brand gimmick. Every manufacturer uses branding and branding amounts to little more than an advertising and brand recognition tool.
tbh, any one who pays any attention whatsoever to branding is wasting all our time. Phones should be assessed on what they can actually do, branding has nothing to do with it.
