> Should I buy the K610i?

Differences between K610 and V630 are mainly cosmetic and marketing. Vodafone add the M2 and Stereo speakers as a bonus. The K610/K618/V630 camera is a very good camera which works best in good light conditions. The some of

's 2.0 MP cameras are slightly more advanced with A/F and flash but you'll not find this camera to be of poor quality in good conditions.
That K610 deal sounds great! go for it!

Yes, the OFFER is GOOD . . . but the fone (included) is NOT that GOOD

Maybe there are other TEMPTING offers too

That's what you think

The phone looks very nice, and does all I need from it and more
Well, Etisalat used to have the same offer, but instead with a K800, it was about $50-75 more(can't remember exactly).. well, they don't do that offer anymore. And they don't offer any better phones than the K610 currently.
Vodafone offers along with its V630, the SE W850i with a SIM card( no free minutes) for about $415. Out of my league
So no, there aren't any other as tempting offers.

We are just givin' out our own PERSONAL opinions here . . . but the FINAL choosing will be YOURS to make pal.

Well, I wouldn't mind waiting a bit, if I knew what I was waiting for.. Is there any phone coming out this year, or early next year that might interest me?
PS. I have no phone right now

Wow, the P990 sure has a lot of features. Not bad for its price online. But that's online, I'd have to check if it's available at a similar price locally, before I have a second thought about it.
And the K850 is way out of my league; it isn't out yet, it has a 5 MP camera which means it will cost way too much money.
I have to ask though *JoJo*; what do you find so bad about the K610i?

@extreme - K610i has a bad design (me thinks

) - looks so squared, they say that cam is NOT that good, joystick-issue . . . well actually I did NOT own one, so not much comparison to make with that of the K618i (which I had - twice) . . . and I heard one issue about it when the store I frequently buy fone at had a RETURNED: DEAD K610i (owner hit the brink on the battery till the fone totally just went OFF and never been resuscitated)

but that was an old-issue (during it's INITIAL release . . .)
What you saw is a GOOD-deal mate (K610i) ! Go get one now !

@ExtremeCoder, if the screen of the K610i is the same as the K610im, which I believe should be the case, then that would be its weak spot. The screen that was on my K610im was quite poor compared to my K750i, colours and sharpness weren't as good. Other than that, I would say the K610 offers pretty good features, unless you're looking for a camera with auto-focus. To me, it isn't always necessary to get the latest phone in the market because ultimately, the best phone for you would be the one that offers you what you need. I personally just bought a W810i a week back and I'm very satisfied with it, despite it not being a new model. It's got everything I need, and by this time, most firmware issues have been sorted out. I've also read enough reviews to know that it's a good phone.
