This tutorial is also for PC.
iFuntastic is the Mac version of iBrickr.
On a side note, if people can't find the link (although it's at the middle and the end of the video) here it is

Hi all,
Just two things the first thing that i find pretty amazing is that there actually seems to be more of these apps that run under Windows than Mac which i really do find strange for Mac device.
The second is potentially not so good news which is it seems that gaining access to the iPod touch is proving less successful and harder to achieve. So maybe their is a benefit to indeed getting an iPhone sooner rather than later running 1.02 and then once unlocked and hacked for the custom installations not updating the firmware. Which may make the earlier US sourced iPhones more valuable a little like what happened with the PSP as the later releases blocked the loading of Home brew and the other things that could be done with these earlier firmware versions.
Personally i would love to see the Touch cracked so it could run the E-Mail software and if it could also link to your Mobile via the WiFi for 3G or HSDPA speeds would also make it a killer combo IMO. A bit like the concepts we were shown ages ago where you had a central server type device that you just connected peripherals to when needed. I always thought that was great concert that never reached the market.
No one will really know until 1.1 firmware is released in the US and someone upgrades and sees what changes actually occur as to if it will block all the wonderful things that can be done.
Although if this is how it turns out it then it makes the fact the iPhone is locked to one Network and IMO illegal more relevant again.

the thing is, if I knew what's different (component wise and model numbers) then I'd be able to assess whether or not I could try to trick the iTouch that it's an iPhone. I don't want to brick it

@amnesia
All the teams of guys that broke the iPhone have been trying to do it to the touch and are reporting that Apple have drastically changed things with encryption and various other blocking methods so far they are having little to no success at all and more worryingly getting no where fast in their attempts.
That is why a lot of people are now buying the early 1.02 firmware iPhones as they are not sure after this 1.1 update any of the unlocks or customizations will be able to be applied any longer. It looks like maybe Apple have slammed the door shut on customisations and unlocking after all.

which is VERY silly in my opinion.
However I'm pretty sure that come the Asian release, it'll be unlocked.
No mobile is locked in the Middle East nor in China.
If it was locked, nobody would buy it.
I'd say Apple would be very stupid to avoid these two regions. Especially since Arabs change their mobiles as much as once a month.
Finally, when the UK version comes out and the US firmware upped to 1.1.1 then I think it'll be as simple as comparing the two firmware's and seeing what's different.
