until ppl learn to quit blindly following foolish old men and religious zealots they call leaders. and the media propaganda things will never change. time ppl learn to think for themselves and work together to make the world better instead of slaughtering each other over outdated patriotism, religion and corporate greed. enough of the blindly following and senseless slaughter. humanity needs to grow up.

If you watch the news, and take to heart all of the negative stuff it will send you spiralling into the doldrums.
To me personally, it's just a question of focus, there is ALWAYS someone somewhere who are a hell of a lot worse off than you or i.
It's so easy to take for granted all the wonderful things in life, enjoy it if you have the health and will to do so, because your a long time dead!!

in the 80's they were going on about global cooling. and whatever happened to the ice age, the earths temperature has changed over the millions of years and there is no hard evidence that co2 is causing global warming, yes co2 is a greenhouse gas, but we seem to forget there are other greenhouse gases and there is no hard evidence that co2 is the gas causing global warming. while i think we need to cut down on the use of fossil fuels because they are not going to last forever.

disiese is something that happens, measures can be taken to control it but it happens.

as for war, there is no need for it. you go to foreign country's and they're spending billions building bombs which the money could be used to improve the country.

as for the almighty war, i don't believe it will happen in the near future

What we also must remember is that in this day and age, 24hr news gathering is now normal, so we have so much more information available to us thanks to Satellite and Cable news gathering and live blanket coverage of events.

This means that we are much more aware of wrong-doings and disasters than we were previously and news reaches us in minutes rather than hours or days, even from far flung corners of the world. As has been said, try not to focus too much on the bad tidings but still be thankful for the good things in your life.
