I'll re-post my tip in case people have missed it.
1 Tip so far for smoother video playback,
instead of using 'Auto rotate' on Media menu 'Settings'
select either Landscape or Portrait,
using Auto rotate (I know it's a nice idea but) really seems to makes videos stutter,
they are a bit jerky anyway for first couple of seconds (compared to K800i) in Landscape mode until the progress bar and icons disappear then they play smooth (have tried all display options, guess a firmware update should fix this one!)
PS: Files tested are M3 encoded video 300Kbps, audio 96Kbps LC (which play smooth on K800i)
Cheers,
Dcuk
I did post the above tip on the thread link below but no one seems to be answering my question about their K850i screens,
are you finding that it has a slightly over warm/yellow tinge when looking at white areas of photo's or video's compared to other SE phones you've had (eg K800i)?

Yes, it is louder than k800. Another tip for taking photos with the camera is that NEVER OBSTRUCT the light sensor when using full auto mode!!! this will cause the sensor to send signal to the phone to release a very weak flash, thus making the whole scene very dark!!! In the box it there is also a specific leaflet which strongly advises you the correct manner of holding your phone when using it as a camera!!

Another tip!
While watching any video, pressing the camera shutter button grabs a still picture of the current video frame (difference is it's saved in picture folder, not photo folder!)
Just in case someone doesn't know, if not wanting to use the 'Media' menu or touch key,
normal file folders are now located in the 'Organizer' menu (key '0' (zero) when on normal menu screen)
Cheers,
Dcuk

Here's a quick question that I hope someone might be able to help out with:
I am trying to sync my K850 with the address book and calendar on my iBook with iSync but it says that the phone is not compatible and I can't find a plugin to rectify this. Anyone had any luck in this area?
Thanks in advance for your help

I tried posting this in it's own thread with no success, so I'll try it here. Has anyone had issues with O2 gprs not working? Problem is, I can't seem to get it to work, no matter what I try. Yes, I did do a search, yes I have downloaded the settings, switched the phone off and on. My previous phone (K800i) seems to have identical settings in it's data accounts but they just don't work on the k850i. Any suggestions, tips, similar experiences?

Remember data features follow SIM card and service plan in the billing system of the provider. Then the switch (switch is all powerful!). Check with Cx service (cx=customer service) first, well Data Techs to make sure not just your BILLING acct has it provisioned by the network SWITCH has it provisioned. Then check settings within your phone. Hope this helps.
