Believe it!

I've been using my K800i in the bathroom every day for the last few months. The Unit is bigger and the acoustics are better, the back lens cover props the phone up so the sound bounces off the surface it's on and back into the room. The 910i is flatter (these is a ridge around the speaker) so the sound has no where near as much acoustic space to develop so it sounds weaker.

odd
bouncy sound..i usually keep my phone face down/on a mock - screen - so the speaker has nothing to bounce off..so its louder..
dont forget clarity aswell..im not yet sure about the acoustics since i dont have the w910..
but it is very, very improbable.. but ill kinda take your word for it gallois.

also ill quote this from the w580 official thread..might come in handy after

"bballs91 - Hey i was just wondering how loud this is compared to something like the W850 or W880i?

PeterKay - w580i is much much louder than the w880i.

gabbyevs - thanks peter. is it beter than say the k610 fr pics?

PeterKay - outdoor yes i'd say! not a bad little device to be honest. "
^remember this and then what i said about comparing it to w880 (the w910) then you'll have an idea how loud it is as i assume you have a w880 pop lover?

@DarkKrypt

actually I have W880, W850, W580!!!

I just need a confirm that
this phone equal or better than W850 loudspeaker

and i read from many owners that W910 is equal to W850 and W580

BTW There is not much difference between W850 and W580

I can easily say the W850 loudspeaker just like W580 loudspeaker Especially in walkman mode

but in the ringtone W850 is slightly louder than W580!

As I mentioned earlier, I think my W910's speaker may be defective because I can't imagine a manufacturer putting out a product with such a poor quality of sound.

As for the Fastport on the side, it doesn't bother me too much since I only use it for data & charging, but if it were attached to a headset I might find it awkward. I didn't know K series still had it on the bottom.

Whoever asked me if I've ever owned a SE before, I have owned T610, K700, K750, K800 in addition to Nokia 3310, 8310, 7210, 6300 & Samsung E720. It may be true that these functions have never been available from SE ( I may simply not have noticed it ) but is that an excuse not to develop? Sony Ericsson never had an accelerometer before either, but they do now. My Nokia 6300 can set ringtones and alerts on a per-profile basis which is very useful. All companies should learn from each other which would result in better products for us.

I was looking in a phone store today at possible replacements for my W910 and was shocked at how large and ugly most of the handsets were. T650 is nice, 6500 Classic is nice but most others are very unattractive. So the W910 is good from that stand-point at least.
