will you be paying more for the K850? Do they have the N95 8GB in stock? If you're capable of paying more for K850, i suggest you pay more for the N95 8GB. Or, just keep the N95
no surprise there

bad experience with N95, returned 3 units, then I decided to have my money back and stick with my old phone. even on a non-faulty N95, I find the system too laggy, but that's just me
if you desperately need a xenon flash for party pics and don't take a lot of videos, go get the k850... or wait for nokia N82, samsung G800

N95 mate! I like both Nokia's and SE's and I would have gotten an N95 if it were fully compatible with my car as the SE's are.

I have not tested the n95 deeply, a friend of mine has it, I have been told that sometimes is very slow, and I buy what I want to even accept that this had a n70 and he needed the same thing apparently is the symbian or is that has so many applications, but I like the n95 not change if any for a k850 but in the event that I do not have any of the 2 I would wait for the k850, even in some reviews of photos I q seen the n95 takes you an advantage .. N95 conclusion if you do not taste change, and if you do not have to be a follower. K850 .. purchase or n95 8g

@QVGA
What it boils down to is choose which phone best suits your needs, if you have the choice of trying out the K850i and the option of sending it back if you don't like it then thats what I'd do.

How much does a k850i with a 8gig mem card cost? I bet you about the same if not more then the N95 8gig. Apart of the price, size and photo quality, any other comparision is futile. The 'original' N95 was/is one of the most successfull Nokias. After its release just over 6months ago, Nokias share price doubled and total market penetration shot up by 5%+ ! Yes the SE fanboys hate it sick. After all this is the device which gave SE the dead stab what hi end devices are concerned, forcing them to make mistakes with buggy devices and eventually give up. In 3-6 months nokia will bring out the n95-8gig's successor. Rumor has it, it will be the first wimax-mobile device, 16gig mem, s60 touch screen, half hi-def video rec. and a few other goodies. (probably turbo wifi - althou I think they will stick with the 'g'). Even so, I expect a few 'harden' SE fanboys to say the k850i is better :D Clearly their numbers are dwindling thou.

my 1-cent for this thread:
i guess it depends on individual preferences and not what brand or model is superior than the other. the personal needs of the user should be paramount and in that case, no particular brand or model would stand out.
beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
