Hmm whats in this 'Dirty Ice Cream' JoJo?
Hi spikeyjac, here's a site that does a good feature on the more popular street snacks in the Philippines, mostly sweets, including "dirty ice cream." (It's not really dirty, it's just how we call it, to distinguish it from branded ice cream like those sold by Nestlé etc.):
http://my_sarisari_store.type[....]i_store/street_food/index.html
"Dirty ice cream" is eaten from small slightly sweetened cones, and can be bought in any flavor combination, one flavor's scoop on top of another. Common flavors are cheese, chocolate, purple yam, mocha.
Jojo btw can well afford Haagen Dazs but dirty ice cream has its own flavor, there's nothing like homegrown food.
