Hey there... 1st post but have been lurking for ages!

I just rang Vodafone and upgraded to the N95 8GB for £74.99... staying with them for 18 months. I've kept my current tarriff, but the interesting thing is you can change the price plan at any time, don't have to keep it for 3 months as I've had before... so if I want to drop my bill I suppose I could go right down to the minimum tariff and still have a cheap phone!!!

Gets delivered tomorrow... looking forward to it.

the thing is i dont even spend that much a month on calls and have only had 2 in the past 12 months even close to £100 most of them have been about £33 thats my £25 tariff and my data bundle. And sorry cant really do a review as dont have a home pc or a seperate digicam my phone is my only internet access and camera and good phone that it is it would take a while to do a review on this. Strictly speaking it wasnt only £12 i had to pay £3 for delivery and my 2months to go from my current contract has been added on so effectively a 14month commitment

few things i have noticed so far with the fone. Although it has a hard screen cover if you press on the housing just above the navigation controls(dpad etc) the screen at the bottom looks as if it has been pressed also the power saver standby always comes on in landscape mode even when using the phone in portrait. And when u continue using the phone from power saver screen it flashes on in landscape before settling into portrait mode. No biggies but just thought i would report my findings haha. Also vodafones default "colour" themes was hideous in my eyes and was the first thing i changed but not a big fan of the nseries themes on here either anywhere i can go for some new ones?

One question about the N95-8GB on Vodafone - does it have any external branding, e.g. a Vodafone logo where the Nokia logo should be under the screen?

no branding on the front of the phone but on the back just above the camera surround it has vodafone and the logo written in white however this blends in with the rest of the writing on the phone and is barely noticeable. Internal branding is basically just start up and shutdown and a vodafone live logo acting as a web access point( after theme changed to a normal n series 1 provided on the phone)

Thanks Frank - useful information. I generally have Voda branding, but this seems ok & i'll update the firmware to generic anyway. I was mainly worried about excessive external branding on the phone - like is present on the K800.
