it should have AF indeed. what good is a high resolution camera module if it doesn't have any AF feature...
one of the reason i got the W810 is the AF feature. Walkman + AF camera!
its like having the best of both worlds in one single unit.
i'm pining for the K850, though... MegaBass-featured Media Player and the 5.0mp Camera... WOW!

You may also take a look on W960. it also has a great 3mp camera + autofocus. sadly it doesn't have Xenon Flash like K850
