@salih - If I were you I'll just CHOOSE ONLY between these brands: Nikon, Canon, Olympus . . . and perhaps - KODAK !

i wouldnt touch a sony personally. had a t20 and it was the biggest pile of rubbish. currently use a panasonic tz3 and a fuji f30.

personally id pick in that range the fx10 that aiden posted or look at a lower canon ixus 70/75?.

or maybe look at the olypmus mju 820 which is another great camera, has a nice big bright screen, 5x optical and a great lens

Not sure on your budget but these are the dogs...

the newer version even better with proper "raw" mode, full manual control, which is rare for a compact

that camera is never meant for serious photography but for fun mate(talking about the T20) if you want a sweet performer then look for W-series. as i said they have one of the most well-implemented lens designs afterall i recoment the author to get W30/W35 as they are pretty cheap now and they offer excellent image quality par on ixus from canon

@razec - thank you, I was planing to do that, W35 seems like a nice camera, and I'm used to Sony colors. One more thing it will be cool to have cyber-shot phone & a cyber shot camera, although I know they don't have anything incommon when it comes to quality of photos.

@razor - For me ha . . . for me only, Sony Digicams are just like a GOOD(er) version of the Casio Digicam . . . when it comes to buying digicams, I heavily rely on tested ones thru the DECADES and that's: Nikon and Canon (though this one was already in use during the FIRST World War) . . . Honestly, I like Kodak too (a BIT yellowish with the image-outcome but NICE hue !) despite they are bein' known for making FILMS back then . . .

Yeah i also love nikon and canon cameras, but in fun, design and innovations i prefer cybershots especially the T-series like the new T2( and oh i love the Z610 like finish indeed! and the "grin" shutter click! ) anyway everybody has it's own tastes so there's always differences

Happy Halloweeen matey!!!
