It was possible to convert the m600i qwerty keypad to use with the w950i, as well as the memory card slot. Give it time im sure it will be done. Heres video:

Why not just get a replacement music player (like LCG Jukebox) for the P1 instead of going through all this trouble and risk for the Walkman player?

Well, I was talking with Martin Vagner today, he said that he is out of time now, but next week he will be working hard on qwerty & M2 support.

It's possible right now using XS++ right? It's available in the menu for flashing!

If you dont care 'bout memory card or qwerty keyboard, that is.

nah mate, u cant do the conversion using xs++, even if u change the cda to w960's one, seus doesnt have the w960's fw yet, and it still recignises the fone as p1, because xs++ cant change the fone id from p1, and also, xs++ cant flash smartphones yet, the guys who did it are using their own software, and they probably extracted the w960's formware from a prototype

Had a play with this today.

It would be fine - however the "true" (m2 and qwerty working) P5w conversion requires:

core os module : P1i
rofs1: w960
rofs1 ext: w960
rofs 2: w960

All must be the same verison...else the phone will enter a reboot 'loop' at startup. So far I cannot find the same verisons...but will sniff SEUS to see more

Anyway, thats just my experiments...
