reply to jac12: it's just because you're playing to much with it, can't help it, I know but if you'd just leave it and not use it for 2 weeks you'd see that the standby would be around 250 hours...

You're right about the T9 but my guess is that it will be faster with the MMS-software cause the thing is, my sister has a T66 and it's impossible, and then I mean really impossible to get the phone to sack behind when writing sms, or in the menus or in any other place...

Just read some more about the LOOX.

Hmm,..didnt really get this one,..they say its a pda with gsm/gprs module,..and they think that the phone-part is "built-in".

Now I dont know what to think and believe

Does anyone have the real data on this one ?

BTW: from what that website say, it should be a Fujitsu-siemens, and not just a Siemens.

To Jac32:
For the specifications of the 7650 and the battery go to:
http://www.nokia.com/phones/7650/specifications.html
It is the same battery that 8210/8310 uses and I know it for sure cause I have it. AS far as T9 is concerned cosider that there other nationalities as well. I am from Greece and T68 has the best T9 for my language. I have tried an 8310 and its T9 in my native language and it is a disapointment. Sorry to say that, but it is. But the main purpose of my post was not to argue about the speed of T9 for Nokia or Ericsson. I wrote just to say that phones to come will be like T68. Very sophisticated, with lot of memory & features. As a result the speed will decrease. I wrote it also before: compare Nokia 6110 or 7110 with 8310 to see what I mean. Although 8310 is not as different as T68 is, it is very slow compared to 7110 or 6110. Thanx for the discussion!

Well I'll probably go for the T68 - if I can get hold of one soon. I think the T68 and 7650 are just the first of a kind - this time next year they will be considered rubbish compared to whatever is the latest.
As for what Orka said - just because something gets more sophisticated does not mean that we should expect speed to get slower - quite the opposite in fact.
Look at computers, PDA's etc. The 7650 has a brand new OS I believe (Simbian ?) so it may have capabilities the current OS systems can't cope with.

Personally I think the 7650 will be better than the T68 but it's months away and for me just a little on the big side.

Heyyyy people !!!!! Stop saying that T68 and Nokia 7650 are the first of the kind.... In JAPAN they were using phones with colour display 1-2 years now... They Laugh when they see T68.... They have phones small as T68 but not with 256 colours LCD but 65.000 colours TFT screen....
