the screen as i heared is brilliant an look like a glass one
W910 not as loud as W850 so ........ W910 no as loud as W800
about the video encoding I think darkkrypt mention that in the previous page....
W910 i was torn between W910 and N81 ...... but I think the question to ask to yourself is:
do you want a very loud loudspeaker? if yes go for N81
but ask yourself again can yo go with low Loudspeaker with much better looking and better Keypad and Control? If yes Go for W910
I will go for W910 for Sure and the most reason is the A2DP And the wired headset of the walkman Phone cannot be beaten by NOKIA!

yeah, i need 2 find a place that has both the phones, i luv the looks of the w910 but the n81 has a louder speaker and a 3.5mm jack inbuilt, the w910 has the se interface which i like and the hsdpa, simply the n81 has more and more powerfull stuff thanks 2 the s60 os...

I just bought one.
The screen is fantastic. The screen is the phone its so big.
Movies play back just fine. You can skip forwards and backwards in a movie, but I have yet to get the hang of this.
The speaker is not as good as my W810, probably as loud but sounds more tinny. The speaker for me is only important for ringtones, but its still a bit disappointing.
My main grumble so far is when I organise my pictures and videos in folders on the memory stick when I look at the under the media player it shows ALL content in ALL directories!
So if you have hundreds of photos in different folders the W910 will try and show thousands of photos all in one go. Which means its slow and you have to scroll through hundreds of photos to get to the one you want.
I wanted a simple file manager like the W810. Maybe I am missing something here, but this is really annoying me. Is it possible to get a file manager view?
Same with videos.

Ah thanks! Thats much better.
In fact the Media Player menu now crashes as it tries to preview thousands of pictures on the 2Gb memory card. Crashes and takes me back to the main menu.
But file manager is fine and I prefer to use this.
Another gripe I have is when someone calls me, despite the HUGE screen the contact picture is SMALLER than that shown on the W810 screen!! That makes no sense and is a real disappointment.
And another - the SMS animation icons are still not as good as the K750.
Still fantastic slim slider when great screen. But SE need to sort the software out to make the most of the phone.

how is good the transfer speed through the USB Cable comparing to the previous SE Models and could you mention the five colors of the walkman skins that changes while changing the theme?

pop lover i belive you get a memory card reader with the phone so you dont need a usb to trasnsfer music and pics i dont think you need to load the sofware either.
