I have the w810i and my Albums do sort in the correct order. This is because my mp3 files have the track number embedded in the mp3 tag. I don't have a fancy w810i either. It is a LOCKED and Cingular Branded phone in the US. If you do not have track #'s in the mp3 tag, it will soft alphabetically as you have described. My "Dark Side of the Moon" is sorted exactly right.
Either use a tag editor to fix these, or at the least in Windows OS, right-click, choose Properties. Go the the Summary tab and click Advanced. Look at the "Track Number" field. You can edit these. If you do indeed find out you do not have your tracks numbered correctly, look up Media Monkey or google for the multitude of ID3 tag editors that will fix these for you in bulk.

Yes, if you put a track number in the tag it sorts by track #.... or if you get lazy you can rename the track "1 - (song title here)"
