Looks like someone was not paying attention during class but fiddling around with his new toy
Video quality is good but sound is not the best. I don't think you can watch your video to see what you missed during the class as you will not hear the instructor...

here you hear the sound....sadly i hadnt "discover" the night profile yet...(recorded with auto)....but the sound is realy loud and clear...

indeed, very good quality. it was time that se offers some quality vids in their fones, the former models offered really crap vids. funny, that nokia managed the video feature already in the past and it took so long time for se.

Thats the video I recorded. Sound quality is acceptable. I think the microphone is in the speaker opening on the side closer to camera. Check it in light reflecting angle and you'll see what I mean.

The K850 record video in QVGA...Quarter VGA 1/4...Doesn't matter if it's 30fps, it's from VGA recording quality. Really bad video quality for a 2007-08 cell phone!!! Real deception!

i think that there is somthing wrong with your k850!
the photos are great but the video:....
your phone seems to record the first one or 2 seconds with true 30fps and after that droping the fps.
i had test 3 of your video samples:
1-the one taken in a bath
2-the one you took in a class
3-and the last one with some people showing somthing to the kids
analyzing them completely (extracting each frame from the video) shows the same problem with all of them.
(which is not present on the other's sample clips).
get your phone updated!!!
and i wanted to thank you (as a SE loyal) for showing the ppl that if they want to take good pictures they have to learn their camera !!!
for me after a week of using my brother's k850... i think that this thing eats the N95 in terms of outdoor details and indoor quality.
even the color rendering of the K850 is superior on the print ... the colors are much closer to real than the N95 ... N95 print outs are very over colored.

I always knew k850i video recording was better then other
