If its presentation you want, then its....
1) Scone cut in half
2) Both halves lightly buttered
3) On each half scone - half clotted cream and half strawberry jam
4) Add a mint leaf to each scone (sticks better to the cream)
5) Icing sugar - In a sieve over the scones (gives it a christmassy look too lol)
This is how I used to serve them in the hotel I used to work for.

ok, following thsi thread - i went to tesco's on the way home and bought 6.... but to my shock..... i had NO JAM at home!!!!!! arrrgggghhhhhhh!
