1.
look at the "post your pictures taken with k850" thread...
what do you see ???? i see one of the best pictures ever taken with a cell phone (i also own a k750, (and w810, k800, k810)...and non of this cameras take better pictures then k850.........no doubt about that.
(sure, perfect sunshine, and you get good pictures with k750, etc...but when you dont have perfect sunshine...how does your k750 pictures looks then ??? (not good at all i can say)

2.
if i guess, its something wrong with your camera software, (i doubt its a hardware fault)

3.
i think this prove everything..(and it realy prove that you have something wrong with your camera-software)

k850 take beetter Macro then k750....(much much better sharpness)...one BIG reason is because k750 lack real flash, the second reason is because k750 have a smaller lens...and so on.
oil paint..are you kidding............the macro picture on the Cat have awesome sharpness & natural colors.....(remember that the picture is in full size, which your isnt !!!!!!
k750 take realy good daylight pictures..(exactley what you just showed us...he he he
ps..im NOT saying this because i favo k850, im saying this because i have many pictures from both phones, and i easily see the difference................

Yes i agree, the cat picture is really good.
But the picture of your daughter/sister (?) shows oilpaint, even if you view it resized.
Also, i experience this on my own pictures. Some look painting-like even when im just viewing them in windows picture viewer

I will have to agree that there are some things that I am truly disapointed in about this phone. When taking outdoor photos there is too much white out! The shots indoors seem to be hard to capture clear and in focus. Moving people in them seem to apear as ghosts. I have been trying many different settings but on each photo I get the same results.
It is sluggish, slower than the K800, and I reboot it daily. The key's at the top of the key pad are too close together, (soft keys to the call, C, and hangup buttons) when I hangup the soft key sometimes gets pressed and I don't have big fingers.
I still am going to keep it as I am willing to "ruff it out" untill the new firmware is released. I think se knows this has been a major blunder releasing it too soon.. this is why I believe they want to get the firmware right to correct those problems. We did seem to wait forever for it to be released though.
On the positive side of things, I love the flash and video, as well as the browser.. IMHO

@number1....you very wrong...k850 take better Macro then k800/k810..
have you tried macro with k850 ????
(i was kind enough to shrinked your picture.....it should look realy perfect because i shrinked it, but it isnt)...the colors looks to bleached....and its NOT close distance, (much easily to shoot Macro when its not realy close...the close distance is the whole point with macro).
show me one macro picture from k750, k800, N95....who manage this quality WITH ONLY INDOOR LIGHT AND WITH THIS CLOSE DISTANCE, (no flash of course).....you cant.
k850 is easily the Macro king.
