@SKIBBE
Well, generally I love Gdesk, it's the fantastic app which really surprised me and it's the software with a real FANTASY,
If I'd be the SE producer, I'd hire Gary!
It's just - I don't need it since I have a menu anyway in my phone and having one menu over the other is not convenient for me. You also end up on the applications which always look the same.
In my usage UiQ3 menu is great and I don't need any customization.
Check out LinkBoy, which is just adding icons to your stadbyscreen, it's not OVER the default system.

Each time I load a theme I get an error. ECOM 17002

Does anybody know why?

You probably didn't install all the modules (shortcut, agenda, etc.), or the theme refers to some resource elsewhere.

Maybe... This is my first use of Gdesk.

What kind of recources do we need? I only put 1 gdd file for each theme. What else do I need?

I liked your desktop. Where do you find all of those icons from?

I will try to install this software today.

I just lowered the theme, the icons are inside in him.

@doministry

I feel the same, but my real question was i am the only one who did not "get" the gdesk "hype" =)

Yeah have seen some screens of linkboy but as said before i don't want more icons

@ares

i do see all the things it can do for people and endless custom layouts. not just for me.

i would more like that they change the way uiq3 handle themes (induvidual buttons, be able to use transparacy and work more in laycers like in an non uiq SE phone. and been able to use swg backgrounds/themes/gif animations.

GDesk is the best application for UIQ3 so far I have used. The new version is close to excellence.

Those who want to remove the stupid operator logo, add 15 icons per page, and more than 30 shortcuts for multiple pages, or get rid of the crappy UIQ3 standby, GDesk is the answer.

@hahaha
You don't open Gdd file!!!!
You open Gdesk and than upload Gdd file to it!
@SKIBBE
I agree with you. As I said, I admire Gary and the hype is also not for me.
In my taste UiQ standby is fine as well as it's design, basically.
Let's see what next UiQ will bring.

The only problem that I saw while using Gdesk is that I couldn't use the mute button shortcut # and keylock (back) button.
