I managed to change a predesigned theme so that the media player colours were different. I did this on a PC using the above method as I couldn't get anywhere using dropcopy and stuffit on my Mac. The method is very tedious anyway. I can't believe that the SE themes creator doesn't have the capability to change the media player. Incidentally, in the demo tour movie that came with the K850i, it shows the media player with a green background, yet non of my original themes had this colour.

Can anyone recommend how to change the media player colours/animation etc on the Apple Mac?

just find a tar compressor that works with mac...
I am trying to find but all i find are compatible with linux and not with mac...
too bad... hope SE themes maker enables that option...

I remember on older phones it's something they specifically didn't want people to play with. I think it's because they're trying to keep the Media Manager side of the phone as recognisable as possible to help with branding and a feel of consistency across the range. I wouldn't hold your breath on them including the media player colour customisation in the next Themes Creator.

The green background in the demo vid might come with a green theme on the green K850 perhaps and then they used that in the video put it on all the phones to save production costs. It'd make sense because the blue themes wouldn't suit the green phone.

I tried a lot times but sometimes I can change progressbar color properly,
but most of time it doesn't work as I set color code...
There is still I don't know which one is for what... someone can change and
tell us which one is exactly what it is...

Would you please guys tell me what I wrongly did in applying the above method...

After editing theme.xml, especially the media bla bla bla color, I save it. Then what should I do? What steps should I do to make my theme.rar--then change .rar to .thm manually--work on the phone?
It is always telling me that my theme file is broken...

Read the post of Ricky D and nivo22. They have given good briefing about how to customize the media player.

Keep in mind that you need the archive the files into *.tar NOT *.rar, and them rename to *.thm. Once you have done this, my suggestion is try to open this file with Themes Creator. If everything works fine, you can then test it on phone.

what is the colour code of the green back ground that is in the demo tour? I tried to change many green colour codes but could'nt find exactly the same as in the default tour video.
