I use Garmin Mobile 4.10.60 UIQ on my P1. I have Nordic maps but itīs not a problem to find Europe maps. I like this much more than Tomtom.

Hello

Anyone managed to place a Tom Tom ONE or GO Maps on the P1?

The maximum version I managed to place are v6.75 Maps
Current maps are v7.10

The most recent version for tomtom navigator six is still 6.75. as far as i know, one/go/rider maps won't work directly on navigator, whatever the underlying platform.

what you can try is to change the device type in tomtom home to tomtom one, then transfer the maps, then switch the device type back. this works at least when you use a memory card reader.

i need to use this for transferring the most recent rader warning POIs, because those idiots at tomtom did not list the uiq version as compatible in the toc files. grml.

uiq support is unfortunately non-existant from tomtom and getting worse these days.

cheers anyway

Anyone can confirm that Tom Tom still works on the new firmware version?

I can confirm that it works on the new firmware. In fact it seems much faster.

Can someone else confirm if tomtom is indeed faster with the latest firmware? On the old firmware it was lagging a lot, I thought, unless I turned all POI off.

I can't see any differences on Tom Tom performance.

Swiss Mgr reports Tom Tom is using 33% of processor, so I believe refresh slowness must be a software problem, maybe induced to prolong battery life.
