Nice man!

That's definitely a prototype! The production unit doesn't have the alu between the display and keyboard.

By the way, the firmware doesn't seem to be prototype firmware

Very nice! looks like its now running the World Generic 1 firmware so you should be able to update normally.

Not sure i like the brushed metal strip but it is just a matter of opinion and it is definitely a collectors item!

p.s. what are the qwerty keys like on your phone? i heard that some of the protos had flat keys rather than concave.

OK, thank you for the information, I will try to update it, cause I found one bug.

I can not delete any recived SMS messenges without open them first, other than that it works fine.

I wonder how much I can get for it, from some phone collector person? A few hundred dollars? 2-300 perhaps? Its very few scratches...

Should I sell it as a P1 or say its a proto in my ad?

I think you can get more - but I'd love to buy it for 200 dollars!

You should probably say it's a prototype but fully functional and with finished firmware.

Somebody wants to change it with a Nokia E65 who lives near Skåne?

It has handsfree stereo headphones, charger, 512 memory card and a stick (pen) thing.

You shouldn't go for E65 when having had a P1. P1 does a lot more than E65.

I'm still willing to buy it for 200 USD

I'm so sorry guys, but unfortunately there is nothing special with the faceplat . I just took a picture of a couple original P1 faceplate which arrived a couple days ago:

The only difference is between this and the retail ones, that this proto does not have the "P1" sticker on the front. The early prototypes had SE123, or X123 written on those front stickers.

Yes, I think P1 makes more things but I do not need all those things.
I like W-lan and camera plus good for SMS, thats it...
