Everything was working fine before sending!

All I did was reset the phone to erase personal data, and it seems this may have caused the problem!

if you have a data cable (one for a psp/digi cam/ps3 controller charger will do fine), try running the nokia software updater from nokias website

It's definitely not water damaged, the phone was working absolutely fine, I reset it boxed it and sent it!

It appears it is the reset that has caused the problem!

AFAIK he's tried that!!

I too would have though it would have reloaded the corresponding software! unless all networks have been updated now!
