Yeah, I noticed, but no problem on my part. I got the information for free, and am using it for my benefit now.

@fbloise thanks a lot for recomending SEVEN
This is absolutely awsome!!! I used until now ActiveSync (aka RoadSync) with an mail2web account. I could say SEVEN is just what I needed on my mobile. Comparing it to mail2web it has folder support, separate folders for each account and... as far as I noticed it drains a little less battery than ActiveSync.. meaning it makes a little less data traffic.

Gmail now offers IMAP support and mail can be pushed to your phone by simply setting up a new e-mail account on the phone and entering the appropriate settings. A Mail2Web account is not required to have your Gmail pushed to your phone. For a lengthy discussion on this topic see the following thread:

Roadsync is ActiveSync made by a company called Dataviz instead of Microsoft.

Dude.. Roadsync and ActiveSync have nothing to do with Microsoft. They are both made by Dataviz. The difference is that the SAME program is named different depending on the device. For example.. it comes already installed on the P1i and if not you cand download it for free from their website. This version is called ActiveSync.. and it's the only one downloadable for the P1i. It's just a branding issue, that's all.
The only connection with Microsoft is that they are based on Microsoft Exchange Servers.

Dude...check your facts..."Exchange ActiveSync is a trademark or a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation":
http://www.symbian.com/news/cn/2007/cn20079040.html
However, "DataViz, a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and ISV with more than 22 years of Microsoft Office compatibility experience, provides a commercially available Exchange ActiveSync client, RoadSync.":
http://www.microsoft.com/exch[....]ation/features/owa_mobile.mspx
ActiveSync=Microsoft
RoadSync=DataViz (a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner)
Inconsequential details not worth debating as long as the solution works.

@RxistKJ I have on my P1i the ActiveSync application. In the "About" section it says clearly:
Powered by Dataviz
(c) All rights reserved
version bla bla
This product includes Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 ActiveSync technology from Microsoft (c) 2003-2007
So we're not talking about the technology, we're talking about the application. It's developed by Dataviz.
