It all boils down to lax parenting IMO.

Lax parenting, due to the fact there there is all the human rights act now. Parents cant keep theire kids in line, and they are straight on the phone to the Police.

As for the death penalty, I think its a great idea for people commiting murder, a life for a life.

As for the judicial system, this is too lax. A life sentence should mean, you never walk the streets again, no matter what your crime.

Seriously though;

Chavs and Gangsters are becomeing worse and worse. Holigans should be locked away for life no-matter how bad it was. Football match yesterday lecister fans trashed Earlsdon in Coventry for no reason other than they were drunk.
Shame it wasn't Hillfields

Earlsdon is a really nice area. Just we have J.D Wetherspoons to blame

Hillfields is a scum hole and always will be. Least Wood-End is being renovated.

imo we should be fixing society's problems that cause people to go and committ murder and other crimes.

we need to start off my getting rid of this stupid capitalist society we live in.

and an old saying that does really come into the death penalty stuff too - 'fighting for peace is like nice for virginity'. (not sure whether that'll be censored but i hope you know that phrase anyway..)

people need real prospects for their lives. people need to be able to enjoy their lives rather than being little slave-workers for the fat cats of our society.

i could go on forever but i'll stop here.

Awave has a point, however it's a bit like the chicken and egg, put the skinheaded, shellsuited, neanderthal in a mansion, and will he change ?.

For me I think its too dangerous for the death penalty to come back. If you give someone the death penalty only to find they were innocent it can't be reversed. There's also the case of mercy killings and killings in self defense. But I do beleive that if you kill someone you should spend you're life behind bars and be made t pay for it.

As for immigration...well if an immigrant has nothing to contribute to the british society and is only here to sponge and reep the benefits then I don't think they should be here. To many immigrants complain about things in England, if they aren't happy with the way we live they should go elsewhere. I think Australia have the right idea when it comes to immigration. Live our way....or take the highway!

if it is proved without doubt that the person convicted commited the crime then yes the death penalty should be used. why should these people stay in prison at the tax payers expense then come out after serving a pityfull sentence to carry on their life.

I'm well aware the Sun isn't the most high brow newspaper doing the rounds, but they are not scared to ask a touchy question..

apparently 99% of the 100,000 that voted want the death penalty re-introduced..
