it seems they update the editor when a new device is commercialy available

Probably, but this is not a bug, or better, missing function of the theme creator, as otherwise both, the required element as well as the code in the xml file would be present, at least in all or some of the original SE themes, where the patch is intended.

No, I think that this has to be fixed via fw update as it currently seems to be an uncategorized 'lost' item, which is even located in a different folder (only God knows why..)

SE has to assign it to a category and maybe even split it in 2-3 parts (like the one for incoming calls, for instance).

And I doubt that this will ever happen.

Oops.... I think I did some mistake there...

Here is the original link:

Try it... It might work as it doesn't seem to be made by SE Theme Creator and that's what is making this problem...

Sorry, good thought but I've just tried it and it's just like all the others. I think myth may be right and there simply isn't a category in the firmware for this skin element, well not for an external source (ie. a theme) anyway.

I just don't understand how such a thing could have been missed, I know that most of the time one doesn't see it bcause the phones by your ear, but what about the times that people use the speakerphone?

This is driving me toward Nipsen style militancy GRRRRR!

Hold your horses... it's also like that with my M600i and I only noticed it about a year ago when I first applied an Iphone theme. Really sucks but it doesn't get to me no more...

i think is is because, you have added a picture to that contact. i havnt tried it myself, but think of it, you knoe in ur contacts, u can assign pictures to that contact, so whe nyou call them, you know who it is.... i think when u assign a picture to that contact, their picture will be there!

You're right, but that's not what we're talking about, the problem is with the screen background - what you can see behind the picture. In every other part of the operating system's display this is skinned by the phones theme, just not the outgoing calls screen.
