pizza delivery - quick meal without the hassle of cooking or going to a restaraunt.. followed closely by cheesewhiz and ritz crackers. technology wise would say handphones and wireless web.

I can't think of a single use of a zip where buttons wouldn't suffice?

I would sooner use a zip though, buttons are too fiddly.

Buttons have gaps inbetween where you do them up, zips don't.
So things like backpacks, sleeping bags, tents etc, wouldn't really work as well
