Sometimes you change equaliser but sound doesn't change also sometimes manual presets don't save
That's why it is buggy

in KD player v9.5 equalizer is supported but not in full fledge.
the equalizer is shown only in java platform 8 (k850i,w910...) but not in w580,w850i,k800,k810 and bleow...
also some nokia phones supported Ex:6500 slide but there is annoying read write permissions.(useless,also u can't minimize the player.

in JP8 works fine but i have to follow some methods to activate the EQ. it delivers great treble and bass. now iam only using KD player instead of walkman.

there are some problem with EQ settings.
1. u can't save the manual settings though option provided to save.
2. adjustment of EQ is not equalising the audio instantly.
3. when changing the skin sometime program hangs need to restart the phone. may be my phone java problem.

method to activate the EQ.
1. play any song.
2. be in now playing then press menu go to EQ
3.press menu select plants then select rock
now u will note the change in equalisation
4. now do adjust the eq bar as ur desire except first 2bars from left side
5.select 2nd bar of EQ form leftside press up button once then select 2nd bar press up button only once. now u will note the change in EQ.
6. if ur change needs be effective then u have to follow the 5th step at last after adjustment of all bars except first 2bars from left side.

thats it.
may its little bit complicate to read but very small operation.

when exit from KD player just use menu exit option. don't exit by hitting end key.

i modified KDplayer with skin,name and icons. enjoy.

I used the KD player when I was having my K800... But as far as I know the KD player equalizer option is disabled (not compatible) with DB2010 or DB2020 phones... I think it works only with new platform phones.
