Id you don't trust sending item first, and other party doesn't fancy sending payment first...
use PeterKay, he will act as a middleman, you send the phone to him, other persons sends the funds to him, he sends you the funds, he sends the phone to the other person, only downside to this is you need t o pay for postage to PeterKay and from PeterKay to the member...
but if you can't trust PeterKay you shouldn't be using this board, PK wouldn't want to rob anyone of anything..
If in doubt use the PK master!
Thank You for such words Mr Reg, appreciate it
I once dealt with Captainsm who is from Sweden i think, he sent me a phone worth £300 without me paying first, deal went through with no issues and done this with other members too like Dale Jeffs etc.

In other words, just ask PeterKay before trusting anyone

i can do any order of leveling, not gold production just yet but that will come after my exams
-----------^^^^^
Does that say exams or is my eye site playing up.
Such a liar m8, just apologise for being a rude abusive idiot and let things settle down.

I suppose one could send half of the money first and the rest when the phone arrives? Slightly safer for both parties, if one of of you turns out to be a scumbag then at least either the seller gets half of the cash or the buyer only looses half of the money. Better than being totally ripped off, I reckon!
Although I'd have a chat with Peterkay too in this situation, I think

The fact remains that the `esato way` has always been that the person with the least feedback in the A-Z of TT sends/pays first. It has always worked in the past for the majority of us.I have 14+ feedback in the A-Z,plus over 30 deals in total, and I would like to think having been a member of this community for 3 years I am a well respected and trusted member.
Anyways.............I`ve said my peice and Mr. F1 can stick his 8800 where there ain`t no sun.

i tried that once - somebody was to trade a p800 and £60 for my a925. he sent me £60, i sent him the a925, and he was supposed to send the p800, but being the dinwit that he was he didn't. i'm still chasing him up though, it is rather fun when he actually answers his phone
doesn't mean i wouldnt do COD in the future though. it is a very good way of new members earning reputation safely. frankly, who is likely to be more trustworthy - a long-term forum member with 14 people to back up his honesty, or the new member who has nobody to back up claims and doesnt seem to be able to say anything without swearing or shouting?
it really angers me when people try to become part of a community by blatently being completely self-centered
