At least with O2, unlimited it just that, there is no 'limit', no 200MB, no 500MB, not even 1GB, you can just keep going and going. If you use it as a modem, then you get charged, but I think thats fair enough really.
And their working on the speeds, Ofcom have already given them a little slap on the wrists and believe me, their working on it now

Can you use the data on the new Vodafone tariffs via your computer or is it just for browsing on your mobile?

JC i would check with them to be honest. Last thing you want to do is use it without checking and getting stung big time by voda.

Good Good!
btw I don't know if you can check when your plan expires,
but you can check all your useage, you have to register for an account when you do this you get your bills online not thru your property doorstep!
as im aware Vodafone don't send both so they have mentioned to be before
I don't think the £25 plans are very good tbh but still,
ive had the 500MB added now for £5 per month instead of £7.50 so atleast my bills £30 a month

Im not sure if it's unlimited,
120MB does me nicely for the time anyway it's like im just using it for the fun of it which I do, ive downloaded tracks and spent days on here for ages, and listened to Online radio etc, don't think ive even reached 50MB yet
this is my first month with the data pack it's free for a month then im paying £5.00 so ive done pretty well and it's nice to know Vodafone have increased the Megabytes
funny how they done this though I actually mentioned this in topic on the Forum, seems the Vodafone Staff must be noting down what there customers want!
I wonder if they will also do something for existing customers now with the Mobile Broadband it's £15 for 3GB but tbh existing customers should get it half price like 3 and 02 offer there customers
although Vodafone did tell me to contact them about it then maybe they would negotiate something already

Exactly, they shouldn't advertise it as unlimited unless it really is, ala O2

I joined o2 a month ago porting my number so that I could use EDGE on my iphone as t-mob that I had been with for a year don't have it.
I took the simplicity with "unlimited" data which 2 separate customer service people said was truly "unlimited" before I made the move but after making the move it was explained to me during a 30 minute conversation with 2 customer service people and their manager that in fact it was "technically" unlimited but had a 200mb fair use policy for the
unlimited web bolt on for which I pay £7.50/month. Indeed I had a bit of discussion about this in the
O2 Tariffs 1st feb (good for data users) and 3g speed restriction discussion at the time.
I could not find any mention of the 200mb on that bolt-on page, nor on the
terms and conditions, or any where else on the o2 site, and the manager I spoke to couldn't find it either but quoted text on the intranet stating 200mb, which is fine if you work for o2!
I'm awaiting my pac code again now to move back to t-mob or maybe now after reading this thread I'll consider moving back to vodafone where I originally got my great number and spent almost 7 years
