Well, mine is rock solid. I can say is one of the sturdiest
's I've got. The only "problem" I can point out is that the charger/USB cable won't go all the way down on one of the sides. however, it clicks and stays put nicely. LOL, and I thought I was obsessive.

I never keep such an amount of sms in my inbox, but from what people have reported here I think you should be able to keep something between 1200-1300 sms.
Maybe you are running out of space.
Check the remaining space on your c: drive:
File Manager > More > Space available

Have you tried emptying your sent messages folder? Also check for dross in 'drafts'...
