I'll trust you on that one as I have never used touchscreen on a laptop.
Might be an eye-opener, like when you switch to touchscreen mobile phone, right?
@ QVGA, it's just beffed up Vista.. They just put touchscreen in 1st plan, this time.

I have tried many distros, but somehow I always succed to make it unstable within two months with all my trials and failures system so I have given up on Linux. For the time being. Good to know it is working for you.
