Thought i'd better mention this,I rung SE today and after asking they said that the latest upgrade was R5C001,this wud enable all funtions on mca-25.
But when i told them about the talk of changing the sms tone alert on Esato the lady said she had visited Esato and that the sms tone was being investigated ;-) we could still be in luck ppl! :-D

MCA-25 uses CMOS len, which is widely used on internet web cam, and we cannot directly compare it with conventional digital cameras.
In order to test the size of the memory that has, I took pictures from 640x480 to 80x60 until it saiz memory full...
I did it twice. I moved the pictures over the phone and I've calculated the sum......
First time: 625kb and second time: 615kb.
