I have found the answer. I had the same thing appear on my phone (K850i) after I performed a software upgrade.

It's to do with video call diverting.

To stop the symbol appearing:
Go to the settings menu ('menu' -> '#')
Scroll right to get to where the phone with an 'i' is
Down to 'divert calls'
'video calls'
'divert always'
'deactivate'

Icon disappeared immediately

I have had this icon for months now...and nobody could give me a definative answer as to what it was for...until now I'm going to try and get rid of it once and for all now...many thanks!

Hello all

I was also baffled by this icon until I discovered that when you clear the "Missed Calls" log, (Menu/Calls/Missed Calls/Options) it goes away! This is my first SE having been a Nokia user for many years and I am totally underwhelmed by the manual and web support for the product.
