I have the T65 in Cosmic blue colour (kinda purply blue). It really is a beautiful phone the only thing that bothered me was the writing on thr back of the case so i sratched it off carefully with my fingernail! Now it only says Ericsson and I couldn't be more happy!

How do you know which software version you have coz it says R3A twice and R1A at the bottom. Is there an update and what does it do?

Cheers

uncle:

You have to upgrade youre phone at an Ericsson Service Center. You can't do it yourself.

Check out http://www.sonyericssonmobile.com/ to find your Service Center.

It takes just a couple of minutes to uppgrade the phone.

Hi to all,
Thanks guys. Think i'll get the phone.
Really like the features, just afraid of the humming problem.

To arnoldc,
did you get it from semicon?Where do you suggest?
thanks,

@ime,

I got it from Semicon, better safe than sorry. It is about PhP13,2xx and already came with R3A firmware, no humming, so pretty good. I've learned a lot now about the phone. The manual is as "bad" as the T68, i.e., not matched with the current features of the phone. If there's anything I could help you with, just let me know.

We'll I'va had two Nokia phones before. The 8210 and 3330, both of which I have sold. Personally, I think the T65 is better than 6210, and besides it can understand Nokia logos, so you're still "in". The plus side of the T65:

1. Bigger screen, better resolution
2. EMS!
3. WAP browser is 1.2.1
4. GPRS, email client, SyncML
5. Accessories: Bluetooth (real thing unlike 6210's bluetooth battery which is limited), MP3, Radio, etc.
6. Multiple font size

6210 Plus:

1. IrDA

The T65 SMS w/ and w/out T9 is noticeably faster than a T68 with R2B. It also have good RF, I think better than Nokia. Battery life is also good.
I hope this helps.
