Well, whatever... Let me explain it to the public.

In order to fulfill its advertised specifications, Process Explorer needs to go against certain restrictions imposed by the operating system. Its function is to be able to terminate any running software, so it goes for it. That's why you use it in the first place, I suppose.

The same principle is true for any power utilities running on any platform, from pocket calculators to Hal of Space Odyssey. It is also true for all software ever released by CPS. Power software always needs to explore system internals to achieve its goals. This is common practice in programming, so don't be surprised. It is quite similar to the popular term "hacking", just on a professional level.

In any case, the following principles are guaranteed to be observed by and valid to all software released by CPS:

- Nothing is done by the program beyond what is necessary to support its published functionality.

- All operations the program does to achieve its goals are both transparent and harmless to the user. The user simply does not need to care about how it is done.

- The phone is never left in an insecure state that could allow other (malicious) programs to take over.

- During normal everyday use of the program, platform security is absolutely unaffected. All the protection Symbian provides is fully in effect all the time.

Note that the above approach is very different from cases when the user is allowed to turn security off entirely, and to take the risk of using an insecure platform.

I hope the above explains it all properly.

Process Explorer is now upgraded to 1.50. The new version lists Dynamic Link Libraries (DLLs), that contain code shared between various applications, and contribute to the overall memory consumption.

By listing applications, server programs, device drivers and DLLs, Process Explorer offers the most complete picture about what's running on the phone. With its powerful cleanup features the application lets you control the amount of available memory.

The upgrade to 1.50 is free for registered users. Free trial is available to all. Enjoy the program!

Please don't request cracked apps here. I'd recommend you to buy this app if you need it that much.

The more people think like you, the sooner the developer will stop producing applications.

Yes, exactly as tranced says above.

CPS plans to release in the near future more new applications for UIQ. Our intention with those applications is to improve the overall user experience, and help keeping alive the platform that we think is the best for power-users of smartphones.

However, if crackers keep on attacking our software, and everyday users support them by using their "products", then our plans can not be reasonably realized.

So, you guys decide what happens.
