Before you can use the ericsson server you have to configure the one of the data accounts. The best way to do that is using the ericsson suport portal and the wap configurator, when you get to the drop down list of wap portals choose ericsson wap. This post was posted from a T68

I used to be able to receive & send e-mails via my t68 but 2 days ago i can no longer send. Im trying my R520 now & still cant send. I think it has something to do w/ service provider (Globe Telecoms) blocking my use of SMTP? This post was posted from a R520

you really shouldn't have a problem ras
worked like a charm for me the second time, after changing the host to ip for pop and smtp.

I've had the exact same problem.

I only just brought the t68 last week (great phone!), but have been experiecing the same problems with 'Server not found' errors.

I've also tried the URL and direct IP address, but with no success.

Funnily enough I've been using Outlook as my mail client which has been working fine for 4-5 weeks until last week I was unable to end mail. I beleive that Yahoo are now enforcing that out-going mail must be authenticated.

Could this have any bearing on why I cannot send or receive any Yahoo mail from Wap ?

Also, could it be down to my Network provider ? I'm on One-2-One.

Thanks.

Yeah.. as bjassal writes. Could it be the Network providers fault, that we can't find the server??

If you think your network portal is at fault then you can try using the ericsson portal which works on all networks and is geared towards the T68's features This post was posted from a T68

To ferrarista44
I still can't send e-mails via Yahoo SMTP but yes I can receive e-mails via Yahoo POP3! I checked my configuration and nothing had been changed! Now my brother can't send e-mails also. He is using a t39 with post-paid Globe line. What could be happening? It has been like this for about 4 days now! And at a time when I have been trying to tell my friends what a great phone Ericssons are! Are you using Globe?
