Hi, I have the W890 and have experienced the same problems. I have tried 3 different Bluetooth headsets but still get random disconnecting during calls. I have a UK T-mobile version and I have updated to the latest firmware but the problem still occurs. I currently have R1FA032 firmware on the device. I also have poor performance using A2DP. With the phone in my pocket it often cuts out during playback which is rather disappointing as this does not happen with my other mobiles. I hope SE can find a solution to this as bluetooth is a fairly basic thing in mobile devices now, and to not have it functioning properly in many of there flagship devices is very bad. I am surprised not many others have complained about this issue.

Well my V640i got worse and lost it's USB modem capability as well and a firmware upgrade made no difference, so it's gone back to the service centre (again).
Just today I stumbled across something interesting in a NZ PC magazine about Power Management settings for USB devices. Using XP SP3, in the Device Manager > USB Controllers > USB Root Hub > Power Management > untick the 'Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power' box.
I don't know if this will improve the V640i modem issues but anything is worth a try. I use a BlueSoliel USB adapter for the BT modem connection.
Still no issues with my V800 as a USB or BT modem.

I use Bluesoliel as well and had the same problems using my K850 (only A200 platform phone I have left now)
Still no reply from

about these problems other than repeats of the above email.
Looks like they can't fix it and wont even try and make a half decent fix to the problems.
No more

's for me from now on unless its a Symbian or A100 platform phone.

Yes. I don't think any of the current or future A200 platform phones will ever have this problem fixed. I've not had a reply from SE since. Have given up and got rid of all my A200 platform phone's and will never buy another one again. Will be sticking to the A100 platform and symbian phones from now on.

I've had my 8GB iPhone for over a month now and I have to say it is no better than the V640i. It also randomly disconnects from the internet and I have been told by a Vodafone rep that it is a known fault and to manually reset the phone to solve the problem which does work. However moving from cell site to cell site causes the problem to reappear.
It seems I can't win.
The touch interface is special enough to keep me using the iPhone over the V640i, which now only does occasional modem and Mass Storage duties.
I've spoken to a

New Zealand rep who was most rude to me and said he would check for the problem in a V640i they possessed and get back to me which he never did. I have a few choice words for him I can't write here.
Anyway, I'm not sworn off

yet but any future

I get (maybe G705?) will be a grey import and not a

NZ supplied model. BTW the latest visit to the dodgy service centre 800+ kms away(!) has left the poor V640i with creaky side panels. It now feels like a $2 phone (made worse by the superior iPhone build quality) and it resets when coming out of Mass Storage mode losing its theme and going back to the awful Vodafone shark theme.
I'm so disappointed its come to this, I used to enjoy the V640i so much.

I'm so sorry to hear about that mate. You know, I was thinking the k630 seemed like a good phone to get and I recall asking for your opinion previously. I have since decided to stay with my W810 and perhaps use my Z770 occasionally once I get it replaced.
