so nobody here uses full-size headphones at home on their Walkman phones?

so nobody can comment on volume levels with higher impedance headphones?

Any DB2020 phone with simple zapf modification would easily beat those new walkman series in sound factor

I totally agree. I have a w580 with other acoustic drivers and it rocks as far as sound quality it concerns.
Easily beats W890 i had before

I listen to my tunes with Pioneer HDJ1000 which has 50mm speaker driver with my K610i, swear to God i never put the volume to the max, too loud, i listen @ 6dots maximum. The sound is awesome (i'm talking about quality here, not sound pressure level)
My friend have a W980 and he really envy my phone.
Sorry 4 my english

You're from headfi? I've a K800i and it can drive a PX100, KSC75 and Sportapro to decent levels but no, it can't drive a high impedence headphone.

As for full size headphone, why not try those Grados? At 32ohms, it can be driven by my K800i to decent levels. (7 full dots out of the max of 8 dots)

HD595, 50ohms? A little difficult. Sure you will get decent volume (Max out on my K800i) but you will getting much less details and its fitted with a 6.3mm plug, it will be a severe strain on the fastport with the 6.3mm converter and 3.5mm converter attached. You better not be moving around if you intend to use this set-up.

Or better still, use an amp! But lol, no line out!

lol BTW, the 'decent level' I refered to is the level I normally listen to, which is a little louder than most people.
